Grizzly Volleyball Announces Hiring of Briana Domino as Assistant Coach
WEST PLAINS, Mo. — Missouri State University-West Plains officials have announced the hiring of Briana Domino as the newest assistant coach for the Grizzly Volleyball program.
Domino brings more than seven years of coaching experience spanning the club, middle school, high school, and international levels. Throughout her career, she has built a reputation for developing student-athletes both on and off the court through skill instruction, leadership development, and a commitment to academic and athletic excellence.
Most recently, Domino served as the head men's volleyball coach for London Spikers Volleyball Club in London, England, where she directed all aspects of the program, including practice planning, player development, competition preparation, and athlete evaluation. During her time overseas, she also competed as a scholarship student-athlete at the University of East London while pursuing a Master of Applied Positive Psychology, expected to be completed in September 2026.
In addition to her collegiate experience, Domino competed professionally with the Malory Eagles Volleyball Club in England's Volleyball League, helping lead the team to a Cup Championship. She also represented teams in international competitions, earning a bronze medal at the 2025 All Nations Volleyball Tournament before capturing a gold medal in 2026. Her international experience also includes an invitation to compete on a volleyball tour throughout Italy in 2023.
Before coaching internationally, Domino served as head volleyball coach at Northland Christian School in Houston, Texas, where she led the middle school program by organizing tryouts, developing practice plans, teaching fundamental and advanced skills, and preparing athletes for competition. She has also held head coaching positions with Spike Sport Volleyball Club, Club Catalyst Volleyball, The Volleyball School, and Liberal Volleyball Club, gaining experience in athlete evaluation, camp organization, skill development, and team management.
A native of Houston, Texas, Domino enjoyed an outstanding collegiate playing career. She competed at Seward County Community College, where she earned NJCAA Academic All-American honors, maintained a perfect 4.0 GPA, received the President's Scholar Award three times, and served as team captain. She later continued her career at Huston-Tillotson University, earning First Team All-Conference honors twice, being named RRAC Tournament MVP in 2019, helping lead the program to a conference championship, and serving as team captain.

Domino officially joins the Grizzly Volleyball coaching staff and will assist with all aspects of the program, including recruiting, practice planning, player development, scouting, camps, academic monitoring, and community engagement.
